SPL Clinic was established to provide specialist Occupational Therapy for adults requiring expert support following surgery, childbirth, cancer treatment, or changes in pelvic health.

As a qualified Occupational Therapist, I focus on the functional impact of scar tissue, abdominal and pelvic changes, and musculoskeletal restriction. My clinical interests include surgical scar therapy, post Caesarean recovery, pelvic health rehabilitation, oncology-related scar management, and developing services in lymphoedema support.

My approach is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and centred on restoring function. I assess not only the scar itself, but how it interacts with breathing, core stability, posture, and everyday activities. This whole-body perspective allows for personalised treatment plans that address the underlying contributors to discomfort, restriction, or dysfunction.
